So I finally made it to Sydney after a long 26 hours traveling. Sydney is a beautiful city, its summer here which is real similar to south Louisiana, hot and humid! With the type of plants here and the sounds of the birds give it and almost tropical feel! It was a crazy transition going from winter in Louisiana to the middle of the summer, but it was an easy switch from boots to sandals. I have been staying busy on the search for a place to stay, so I haven't seen a ton of the city yet, but I did have time to go down by the harbor yesterday to see the Sydney Opera House. Hopefully once I find a place to stay and I get settled in I'll take more pictures for all of you to see.

a quite amazing feet of architecture... it's actually spelled feat. FYI
ReplyDeletethe opera house is known in the design world as a "feet of architecture". The slang was first coined by the british design theorist, William Slant. Who, like most british men, has great pride in the quality of their own feet. Slant acknowledged the opera house as the feet on which a strong design movement could stand on.
ReplyDeleteThank you John ....

Proud of you Will. I hope the search for a place to stay improves... Dad mentioned that you've run into a few scams. I'm impressed that you've already got photos posted... Keep the updates coming!
ReplyDeleteI believe the last picture of you is photoshopped. Add it to your world travels album!
