mississippi river basin model

our studio project this semester is about this model. it was built from about the 1940's to the 1960's. not sure exact dates, but i think i should probably know that. german POW's built it. it covers 41% of the country, the entire mississippi river basin. google it. pictures don't do much for it, you must go there. it's pretty much mind blowing. i picked these pictures randomly out of the eleventy billion i took.

  2. That does look pretty sweet. It looks like they may have built it and left it to see what happened to it naturally...you know like an experiment...maybe...haha just a guess. Also, I wanna see a project statement, posted on here, I wanna know what ya'll are supposed to do with it.

  3. I did a little research on the project. That is freaking amazing/ridiculous. I just can't believe how many projects there are out there like this that we have no clue about. Makes me wish I knew more about history... and life in general! It makes me wonder how all of these things are funded. Puts a little perspective in your life and makes you realize how small you are.
